Manchester City midfielder Mateo Kovacic has been ruled out for up to a month, says Pep Guardiola.
Kovacic has been the understudy for Rodri since his likely season-ending knee injury.
Guardiola said: “It will be a while, three weeks or a month, more or less.”
John Stones and Manuel Akanji were both in training on Thursday, and Nathan Ake is also on his way back. Ruben Dias is still out but not far away.
Speaking on pressure at the club, Guardiola added: “We have incredible, legendary players here but they have to perform. Everyone is under pressure, me the first.
“I have the contract but maybe in a month, I’m not here if the situation is not going well. I think we deserved to continue. I’m not naive enough to stay because I have a contract. I deserve to extend the contract but at the same time we have to be up there.
