Rwanda finally defeated Nigeria for the first time in their history, thanks to a 2-1 victory in their final 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
It also brought to an end the unbeaten run of the Super Eagles in the series.
After an uninspiring first half performance the Eagles took the lead through substitute Samuel Chukwueze.
But two goals in three minutes from Ange Mutsinzi and Innocent Nshuti handed Rwanda a first-ever win against the Eagles.
The game saw coach Austin Eguavoen make several changes.
Bright Osayi-Samuel, Alhassan Yusuf, Raphael Onyedika, Moses Simon, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Victor Boniface, were all named in the starting line-up.
